We absolutely loved our wedding, and we hope you did too -- thank you to everyone for making it possible!
Our Story
In May of 2009, Pauline and Jody met through mutual friends while dining in a group, at -- as they like to call it -- a "mediocre Mexican restaurant" in Boston's Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
They've been snowboarding, traveling, and enjoying strange ethnic foods together ever since.
Jody proposed to Pauline in Boston on 7/11/2014 amidst a room full of photographs of their life together. In addition to the marriage proposal, Jody promised Pauline that they'd adopt a kitten (Pauline's all-time favorite animal).
Their continued adventures took them both from Boston, MA to a new residence in Denver, CO in September of 2014. Shortly after settling in, they adopted their feline companion, Kasza, who came from a local animal shelter.
Squirrel Island, Maine
As a child, Pauline spent her summers on Squirrel Island with her family. It's a charming, historic vacationer's island off the coast of Boothbay Harbor known to only a handful of people.
A visit to Squirrel Island is a bit like going back in time to a simpler era. Though there are over 100 historic homes on the island; there are no motorized vehicles to distract visitors from either the sounds of the waves crashing into the rocky bluffs on summer nights, or the gentle warnings sounded from the fog horns of passing ships.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy this special place as much as we do!
